Theme Images
Image Size
Theme Images will be resized to 1920x1080 pixels. To prevent stretching, videos should have a 16x9 (widescreen) width to height ratio. For best results, use theme images that are 1920x1080 pixels in size.
The best size for theme images is 1920x1080. Images of this size will not be resized and maintain the original sharpness.
Image Transparency
You can use PNG images with transparency - theme image will overlay the entire camera video so it is recommended to make part of the image completely transparent. Images can also be partially transparent, which would allow the viewers to see "through" the image at the camera video underneath.
Images will be resized to 1920x1080 pixels and are displayed on top of the video. If you want to position a sponsor logo (for example) in the bottom right corner of the screen, make the image a 1920x1080 transparent image with the sponsor logo positioned where you want it on the screen. The entire image will represent the full screen on the stream.
SportStream Camera requires you to get images into your Photos library in order to add them to themes. If you are using PNG images with transparency, and they are losing their transparency when you add them to the theme in the app, it is likely because of the iCloud Photos "Optimize iPhone Storage" setting being enabled. When this is enabled, PNG images are sometimes converted into JPG images to save space, but JPG images do not support transparency.
It is recommended that you disable the "Optimize iPhone Storage" setting in the iCloud Photos section of the Settings app, while you are creating your themed collections.
Once the image has been added to the themed collection, it won't be affected by this as the images are stored outside your Photos library when they have been added to a theme.
